Philosophy Statement: Meaning of Collaboration
This course centers on strategies to support students with exceptionalities within a school-wide tiered support system, emphasizing instructional accountability, collaborative relationships among educators and families, interdisciplinary team planning, and inclusive instruction. It deepened my understanding of tiered intervention frameworks like MTSS and provided strategies for integrating IEP-designated specialized instruction within these structures. Through this course, I gained tools to foster collaboration, promote equity and inclusivity, and support student success as a committed special educator.
