WELCOME TO MY
Welcome to my e-portfolio—a dynamic space that highlights the products, artifacts, reflections, and experiences that have shaped my academic, professional, and personal growth throughout my Master’s program in High-Incidence Disabilities at the University of Kansas. This portfolio project has provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on my learning journey, connect assignments across courses, and showcase the growth I’ve experienced along the way. Fueled by my passion for reading intervention to support and empower children with dyslexia and other learning difficulties—especially those reading several grade levels below expectations—this portfolio reflects my commitment to growth, exploration, and learning in this field. Through the Master’s program, I have developed the knowledge of evidence-based strategies and skills necessary to design and implement effective reading interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of these students. Each artifact represents a significant assignment from a course, accompanied by thoughtful professor feedback with any applicable revisions and personal reflections on how it contributed to my development. The portfolio is organized by course, providing a clear and structured pathway through my academic journey. While this portfolio serves as a capstone project, it is also a living document. I plan to continue adding to this site—sharing new insights into effective reading interventions, documenting how I’m applying my learning to support students with reading difficulties, and exploring emerging research in literacy and dyslexia. Below, you’ll find links to each artifact, inviting you to explore the work that has defined my academic journey. As I move forward, I am excited to pursue opportunities where I can apply my expertise in reading intervention to make a positive impact in the lives of students with reading difficulties and contribute to the broader field of literacy education. I hope these artifacts and reflections convey how my experiences have translated into meaningful, real-world applications, shaping me as both a professional and a lifelong learner.
